2007 A4 2.0T EPC & CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON
« on: August 30, 2013, 01:48:16 PM »
Hi,

I have a 2007 A4 2.0 turbo fsi and the check engine and epc light is on. It is idling and takes time to catch speed when pressing the accelerator. I read online that it could be the crankshaft position sensor. I replaced it but it only fixed the issue for one day. I took it to another mechanic who said it is the camshaft and fuel pump and will cost over 3000 to fix. Do you think this is the problem? I would hate to pay that much and it not fix the issue.

please advice

$3k! thats nuts. And i dont think thats your issue. Might be just the MAF. But 1st you need to get those codes checked. If you dont have Vagcom. GET IT! Also you can go to like autozone. VIP one of those places and get scanned.
