Questions About Writeups / Didnt know where to post this so.....

  Hi Guys , its been a while since I had any issues with my B6 . And you guys were great help every time I did need help . Recently had both rear windows regulators go bad on me within 2 weeks of each other. .. But i took care of that  .. Next is replacing the snub mount , looks easy enough ...

But anyway  Just stopping by to say Thank You for all your help.. for those who are new here .keep visiting a4mods , members here are awesome .

I also joined a Group called " Audi A4 B6 club " on facebook.. Check it out.. Would like to have more people with english language to help each other and check put each others projects .

And Everywhere I visit or post any new mods i have done  .. I thank to a4mods so people can check it out . "DIY At a4mods.com"

Hey Manny. There is alot of good info / tuturols on this site. Click on the home then to the right you will see a bunch of usefull DIY's that Martini did. As for the DV install use this.

if you have a vdub or audi dealer close just go to the parts dude and have him look it up. I have had to replace 2 or 3 of those over the years... I just went in and found the part on the engine diagrams I think it was less than 10 bucks? I know it wasnt much. But they should all be the same they have a little rubber peice inside that restricts the airflow one way or the other.

Yeah thats the part you are talking about .. it does have a black rubber part inside of it.  I know I can go to the dealer and get it but the thing is .. dealer open hours and my working hours are same and its far ! .. So are all the black ones that look the exact same to the same thing?

Here are pix of all the check valves .. and the 1 I need is #2 in the PIX ... my question is do all of them do the same thing ??

It looks like this .. but the thing is .. There is a few valves that look like that I dont know if they do the same thing or not ??

I found the leak .. I just need help to identify the part so I can order a new 1.. its oconnected to 2 small air hoses .. top of the engine close to windshield .. its all black .. I see them all over the engine look alike but dont know if all of them are same .. so if anyone knows what im talking about let me know !

Question .. can a Bank 1 code come up because of a boost leak ?? .. I hear loud hissing sound , not when driving normal .. but when I hit the gas it sounds like air sucking in . It used to make that sound since intake 2 yrs ago .. but this sound is much louder and it sounds like boost leak !

Yeah .. I have .. the revving stops . I will try it one more time and leave it running longer ! I mean when I unpluged it it was shaking real bad but That makes perfect sence without MAF . I will and just buy a new 1 today and whatever happenes,  happenes . At least I will fix it or Know that its not the MAF and move on

Ok maybe there is forums with more mods and stuff on them and maybe members 2 .. but this site is my favorite just because I feel connected with everyone that has helped me out over the past 3 yrs .. and like everyone else says it is WELL organized ( Forums , DIYs Write-ups ... GREAT JOB )
